I’ll disappoint you with no apologies. Stop calling me your role model — Media personality Toke Makinwa

Toke Makinwa has asked parents to stop putting pressure on her by telling her their daughters look up to her.   She has also asked people to stop making her their role models.    She explained that the pressure placed on her to be a role model "has to stop"   She further advised parents to raise their kids to see themselves as a work in progress.   She wrote: "Guys I gotta get this off my chest, pls stop calling me your role model, I am no ones role model, me sef I am looking for “role model”. The pressure of my kids love you and you are their role model has to stop. Raise your kids to see themselves as a work in progress." She added: "If a part of my life inspires you, by all means use it as a guideline to be better, pls I am also trying out this thing called life. Oghenekaro Etebo joins Galatasaray on loan from Stoke City

Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Stoke City.  The 24-year-old who will spend the 2020/21 campaign at the Turkish club, was unveiled on Wednesday, September 9 after undergoing his medicals. “Galatasaray Sportif A.?. informed the Public Disclosure Platform that an agreement was reached for the transfer of professional football player Oghenekaro Etebo until the end of the season,” the club revealed on its website. “We welcome Oghenekaro Etebo to our club and wish him a successful season under the Galatasaray jersey.” On joining the Turkish side, Etebo told the club’s official website:  “I am very happy to come to such a big and historic club. Ellen DeGeneres has announced the date for the return of her talk show following multiple complaints by employees of the show.   The embattled host revealed on Tuesday September 8, that "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will return in-studio for Season 18 with a guest appearance from comedian Tiffany Haddish on September 21.   Kerry Washington, Alec Baldwin, and Chrissy Teigen are set for the first week, with Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Adam Sandler, and Orlando Bloom appearing later in September, the show said.   In the announcement, she seemingly addressed the recent allegations against staff at her show saying: “I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio.
