  Big Brother Naija star, Tolanibaj has shared her sad experience from working with a record label in Nigeria.  The reality show star who was reacting to a tweet about Nigerian employers getting away with a lot of things like owing salaries because their employees don't have options, said she was fired from the record label for speaking up for her rights. Tolanibaj who recalled being owed for months, also alleged that the music industry tried silencing her by trying to hide the main reason she was sacked. She tweeted;   Yes! Thank you for speaking up. Yahaya Bello Releases N3.9b for More Road Projects in Kogi

Nobody is safe around the world until everyone is vaccinated - SGF Boss Mustapha

Trump's in-law Jared Kushner nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for brokering Israel peace deals with Egypt, UAE, Bahrain & Palestine

  Trump's son in-law, Jared Kushner has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize after brokering deals between Israel and  Arab states - Bahrain, Egypt, UAE, and Palestine. Alan Dershowitz, an ally of Trump who also served on Trump’s defense team for his first impeachment trial, nominated Jared Kushner, lauding him for forging the so-called Abraham Accords that normalized relations between Israel and four longtime enemies. He also nominated Avi Berkowitz, a Kushner aide. “The Nobel Peace Prize is not for popularity. Man married to a differently-abled woman celebrates her as she gives birth to their son

Update: Saved By The Bell star, Dustin Diamond dies at 44 after battle with stage 4 lung cancer

  Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond, who played Screech in the popular teen series, has died after a battle with stage 4 lung cancer. He was 44.    Diamond’s agent, Roger Paul, confirmed the actor’s death to  Rolling Stone.   “He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago,” Paul said in a statement. “In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer. He did not have to lie submerged in pain.   A young man identified as Victor Egbubie aka Cartel has been allegedly shot dead in Onitsha, Anambra state. Meanwhile, friends have taken to Facebook to mourn the deceased. They kept repeating phrases like "I get no Joy, No joy, blood for blood" . US scientist, Andrew Brooks, who led development of the use of saliva for covid-19 test, dies at 51

  A research professor at Rutgers University, Andrew Brooks, who led the development of the first FDA-approved Covid-19 saliva test, died suddenly on January 23, according to a Monday, February 1 statement by the university.  Brooks, 51, was the chief operating officer and director of technology development at RUCDR Infinite Biologics, the lab that developed the saliva test used for covid-19  diagnosis.  The test, which was approved in April 2020, was authorized for use at-home a month later. According to Janet Green, who is sister to Brooks, the cause of his death was a heart attack. She called him "an intellect, an amazing scientist, an amazing father ... an amazing family man." In 2020, Brooks spoke about the impact the saliva test had as an alternative to nasal PCR tests for health care workers. "It means we no longer have to put health care professionals at risk for infection by performing nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal collections," he said at the time.  ...

  Chelsea billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich has written a message of support to his player Reece James and the first-team players after the right-back was racially abused on social media.   The Russian, 54, who hardly makes public statements has made the rare move stating he will increase funding to help the club tackle racial discrimination. Academic Union kicks as Air Force officers allegedly shoot dead a Federal Polytechnic lecturer 'for not identifying himself'

  Nigerian Air Force officers attached to the 211 Regiment of the NAF Base, Neze, Imo State, have been accused of shooting dead a Computer Science lecturer of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede in Imo State.   According to reports, Okonye Steve Nduka was killed at about 7 p.m on the 25th of January, 2021 at Naze area of Owerri.   Comrade Okonye was allegedly gunned down by the trigger happy men along with an ex-student of same Polytechnic as they were on their way back from a church programme.
