Quest for power is responsible for smear campaign against President Buhari — Presidency

 The presidency has again raised an alarm of a smear campaign being lauched against President Buhari. 

 

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina who made the claim in a statement titled “Unrelenting plot to wage smear campaign against President Buhari", alleged that a  specific medium had so far contacted some opinion leaders, especially those very critical of President Buhari.

 

Adesina alleged that the quest for power is responsible for the drive and that impeccable security findings indicated that those behind the plot would launch coordinated publications, alleging subjugation and suppression of a particular religion and ethnic groups.
